You're welcome to return your order within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order. Returned items should be unused and in their original packaging.
International Returns & Customs Charges
For returns sent from outside the European Union, customers are responsible for ensuring the shipment is correctly declared as a returned item.
Wild Animals is not responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling charges, or other import-related costs incurred when receiving a returned parcel.
If a return is sent with incorrect customs documentation, or is declared in a way that results in customs charges being payable by Wild Animals, any such charges will be deducted from the customer's refund.
Returns that incur customs charges may also be refused and returned to the sender.
Returning from the UK, USA, or Other Non-EU Countries
To help avoid customs charges on your return:
- Clearly mark the shipment as "Returned Goods" or "Return Merchandise".
- State that the goods are being returned to the original seller.
- Include the original order number with the parcel.
- Declare the value as the value of the returned goods, not as a commercial sale.
- Complete all customs documentation accurately.
Failure to declare the shipment as returned goods may result in import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or customs handling charges being applied when the parcel enters the Netherlands. Any such charges will be deducted from your refund.
How to return an item?
- Ensure the Condition: Make sure your item is in perfect condition and in its original packaging.
- Notify Us: Send an email to shop@wild-animals.nl with the subject line "Return Order #[insert your order number here]". Please include the name of the item you are returning in the body of the email.
- Prepare the Package: Place the return item securely in a sturdy box or packaging of your choice and clearly mark that the package as "Returned Goods"
- Send the Return: Take the package to your local post office and send the item to the return address listed below. Ensure you send your item back within 14 days of notifying us of your return.
- Processing Your Refund: Once we've received your item, we will process your refund within 10 working days.

We don't offer direct exchanges. After receiving a refund for your returned item, you can place a new order.
