About Wild Animals
Wild Animals is the publishing company and online shop of Rop van Mierlo.
Since 2019 we've created prints, products, and objects based on original designs by Rop.
We ship internationally from our studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Rop van Mierlo
Rop is an artist from The Netherlands.
He graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2008.
After graduating, he made paintings, illustrations and self-published a few books.
He's collaborated with Marni, Hermès, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Head Porter and Stockmar.
He currently lives in Amsterdam.

How does Rop create his work?
Rop learnt to paint using a wet-on-wet technique during art class at primary school. As a graduate, he returned to this style as a way of painting animals where he had less control. This is how Rop's 'wild animals' came into existence.
What's a limited edition?
A selection of our products are produced in editions. This means we’ll only ever create a set number of that item.
What's an open edition?
Open editions are created without a set production run. While a limited edition will eventually sell out, an open edition will not.
Will my print be signed by Rop van Mierlo?
All of our print editions are signed by Rop in the bottom right corner on the front. Rop will also write the edition number on the front left hand side.
Shipping
When will my order be shipped?
After receiving your order, our team will usually ship your package within 1 - 2 business days. If you require a faster turnaround, please reach out to our team directly using the contact page.
How will my order be packaged?
All of our items are shipped with care and in high quality packaging. The precise packaging will vary depending on the item itself. Prints are shipped unframed in 80cm poster tubes.
Will I receive tracking details?
As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. This email will include carrier and tracking info for your parcel.
Will I be charged duties and taxes by the customs of my country?
We ship all products from our warehouse in The Netherlands. Some orders may be subject to local customs duties or fees, which will vary based on the destination.
Do I need to sign for my package?
For orders above €500 our courier, UPS, requires your signature when delivering your parcel.
How long will delivery take?
Once your item is dispatched, it should be delivered within 1 - 2 business days within The Netherlands, 2 - 4 business days within the European Union, and 2 - 4 days for all other countries. Please note, this does not account for any delays that may occur due to customs.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
During 14 days from the delivery of your package you may request to return your order by emailing info@wild-animals.nl. You must return the Wild Animals products to the Wild Animals online store's return address in perfect and unused condition with the original packaging.
